Top Remote Viewing Community Organizations Advocating for ESP Education Worldwide
What is ESP, why it matters, and who offers free education.
What Are Remote Viewing Community Organizations?
There are several organizations in the remote viewing field that provide a huge amount of free training material, videos, and written lessons. They teach people how to practice remote viewing — a discipline that’s basically a structured method for gathering information about a distant target using the mind. Remote Viewing is often considered a practical application of ESP. It grew out of real Cold War research, and even though the topic sounds unusual, the training process itself is very systematic and surprisingly down-to-earth.
These organizations play an important role in making ESP education accessible. They:
- Democratize the training — a lot of their content is completely free.
- Bring in people from different countries and backgrounds, not just experts or insiders.
- Promote a culture of responsible research, not blind belief.
- Build online communities where people can learn together, compare results, and grow their skills.
The discipline itself is interesting because it mixes mental focus, structured protocols, and analytical thinking. And the learning process is engaging.
We tested a remote viewing training app VEREVIO that was created by a developer named Eugene. He started building it in 2023 as a simple, structured way for anyone to practice ESP and remote viewing on their phone, whenever they want. The name comes from “Vertical Evolution” — the idea that humans won’t beat AI in logic, but people can grow “vertically” by developing the more subtle layers of awareness.
Our team used it and started seeing results after just a few weeks of active use. For anyone who wants to develop their ESP or remote viewing in particular, it’s one of the easiest starting points — especially because so much of it is free and you can learn on the go, anywhere.
What Is ESP?
Extrasensory perception (ESP) — often referred to as the “sixth sense” or psi — is a term used to describe the alleged ability of individuals to obtain information about the world, or influence events, without relying on the five recognized sensory channels: sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell.
The concept of ESP covers a broad range of claimed phenomena, including remote viewing, telepathy (the perception of other people’s thoughts), psychokinesis (the apparent influence on physical objects without direct contact, such as moving a small object or controlling a toy vehicle), and precognition (the perception of future events).
ESP is not recognized as a scientifically established phenomenon, although scientific interest in the topic has persisted for more than a century.
Experimental findings have occasionally produced intriguing results, yet consistent replication remains a major challenge.
Some researchers interpret this lack of reproducibility as evidence that ESP does not exist.
Others argue that replication may be inherently difficult due to the limited number of individuals who claim strong perceptual abilities and are willing to undergo repeated testing under controlled conditions.
This perspective is not without precedent. Even within mainstream science, there are recognized phenomena whose original experimental results proved difficult to reproduce with the same precision, conditions, or outcomes.
As a result, ESP continues to occupy a contested space between psychology, neuroscience, and the study of human perception.
The Role of RV Organizations in ESP Education

Around two-thirds of people in the United States believe in extrasensory perception. Supporters of ESP often refer to prophetic dreams, gut feelings, and unusual coincidences as evidence.
Many of these experiences can be explained as ordinary life coincidences. People tend to perceive patterns in random events, and confirmation bias leads them to ignore information that contradicts their existing beliefs.
At the same time, not every phenomenon in the world can be fully explained by these mechanisms alone.
For this reason, there are organizations dedicated to education in this field. Their goal is to clarify what is scientifically established and what still requires evidence, and to explore ways of developing perceptual and intuitive skills responsibly.
In the United States, there have even been schools where children practiced remote viewing over the course of a year. The results suggested improvements in intuition, confidence in their own perceptions, and overall academic performance.
As we looked deeper, we discovered that remote viewing organizations operate in many countries around the world.
Let’s take a look at the most well-known ones.
Top RV Communities and Organizations
IRVA — International Remote Viewing Association (USA)
IRVA was founded in 1999 by a group of researchers, former military and civilian practitioners associated with the Stargate projects. Its founders — Paul Smith, Lynn Buchanan and Ed Dames — wanted to preserve and develop the methods of structured remote viewing after the closure of the military program. The organization holds conferences, and publishes materials on RV. The main focus is on teaching protocols, exchanging experiences and popularizing intuitive disciplines.
Bulgarian Remote Viewing Community
There is a Bulgarian community and association of people who practice and teach Remote Viewing in the country. The organization was founded in 2012 when a group of practitioners began to gather knowledge, materials and experience in RV in order to popularize it for the locals. They conduct courses, seminars and practical sessions, as well as publish articles, blogs and educational materials about the discipline. The community is part of the international RV community and maintains ties with IRVA and other global groups.
PSI Unit (Germany)
PSI Unit is a Germany-based organization dedicated to the study, practice, and responsible application of Remote Viewing. Founded by early German pioneers trained in the original TRV methodology in the 1990s, the company combines decades of hands-on experience with education, research, and operational work in consciousness-based information gathering.
PSI Unit provides articles, training resources, historical documentation, and methodological tools in both German and English, aiming to preserve authentic Remote Viewing standards while making the discipline accessible for personal development, research, and practical use. The organization is a member of IRVA and focuses on meaningful, real-world applications of non-local perception rather than speculation or entertainment.
