Tell Your Supermarket to Stop Using Untested, Unlabeled
Genetically Engineered Foods!

Trader Joe's, Wild Oats, and Whole Foods have already
committed to REMOVE genetically engineered ingredients from
their store brand ("private label") products.

It's time for YOUR LOCAL SUPERMARKET CHAIN to make the
same
commitment, to REMOVE genetically engineered (GE) ingredients
from its own brands!

WHAT/WHEN: National Day of Action, Saturday, June 8, 2002.
Sponsored by the members of the GE-Free Markets Coalition.

Actions throughout the US at outlets of the targeted
supermarkets.  Join GE-Free Markets Coalition affiliates
to demand that the following supermarkets and their
subsidiaries STOP using GE ingredients in their store brands:

Safeway
Shaws
Food Emporium
Food Lion
Publix

WHO: GE-Free Markets Coalition plus local environmental
